The sunny days have finally shown up, take a break in your studies and explore Dublin's surroundings with us.
1. Howth Cliff Walk

Hiking in Howth is actually one of the best activities to do on a sunny day. You'll be rewarded with fresh air and beautiful views just next to Dublin city center. There are quite a few good options for hiking in Howth and there are very easy.
Accessing Howth from Dublin is very easy, and only requires catching a fast train from Dublin's city center, called "the Dart". A one-day return ticket will set you back around €3 if you have the student leap-card. The tranis leave every 15 minutes and will take about 30 minutes to arrive in Howth.
2. Phoenix Park

Probably one of the most wonderful parks in Dublin, Phoenix Park is located in the north area of Dublin. It's a really nice place where to go specially in a sunny day to make a picnic and relax next to the deers.
Little tips, the deers are usually behind the obelisk next to the soccer fields. But please, for their healthbeing don't feed them !
Accessing to Phoenix Park is very easy, take the bus 46A in direction of Phoenix Pk. Don't forget your student leapcard to pay only 1€.
3. Dun Laoghaire Harbour

After a sunny day comes a beautiful sunset and Dun Laoghaire harbour will probably be one of the best place to enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Accessing to Dun Laoghaire is very easy, take the Dart in direction of Greystones but get off at the Mallon Dun Laoghaire stop or take the 46A bus in direction of Dun Laoghaire.
4. The Forty Foot

The Forty Foot is a promontory on the southern tip of Dublin Bay at Sandycove, from which people have been swimming int he Irish Sea all year round for some 250 years ! To go to the Forty Foot, take the Dart in direction of Greystones and get off at Sandycove & Glasthule stop.
No two days at the Forty Foot are the same. This small and storied swimming spot in a pretty corner of south County Dublin has something of a mercurial quality - one day it might feel like you're basking in the south of France; the next time you're enduring an Atlantic storm. But that's all part of its charm.
And what about you, will you be brave enough to swim ???
5. Explore the Irish Countryside

Although cliché, a photo with a sheep in Ireland is well worth it !
